Strandbergs Guitars – Feel the sound

It all began in 2007 when Ola Strandberg built an ergonomic guitar as a hobby, attracting public interest. The hobby grew into a business, and in 2012 the Uppsala-based company was founded: Strandberg Guitars AB.

Full-scale series production began in 2014, and today Strandberg Guitars has around 20 distributors in Asia, South America and Europe.
In 2017, the company began US operations with a wholly owned subsidiary as its exclusive distributor in the American market.

Today, Strandberg Guitars builds and sells electric guitars worldwide, prioritizing quality, ergonomics, innovation and design with world-class sound quality. Strandberg also makes models with more than the traditional six strings. Seven- and eight-string guitars are increasingly common, and nine-string guitars are also appearing more often.

Plini, Per Nilsson, Yvette Young and Sarah Longfield are some of the world-renowned guitarists who use .strandberg* guitars.

Growth created new demands for better business support

As the business grew, Strandberg Guitars realized in 2017 that it had reached a point where efficient management was difficult. Insufficient system support hindered improvements and development, prompting a project to evaluate and select a new ERP system.

Sage X3 in Sweden, the US and Australia

At the turn of 2017/2018, an agreement was signed with Systemstöd to implement Sage X3 ERP for Strandberg Guitars’ operations in Sweden, the US and Australia. A complete ERP platform for accounting and logistics, integrated with Strandberg Guitars’ new online store based on WooCommerce from web agency Angry Creative.

Go-live in September 2018

At the end of September 2018, the new online store and Sage X3 ERP went live simultaneously for Strandberg Guitars in Sweden, the US and Australia.

Sage X3 is the ERP system for growth companies with demanding logistics needs and expanding international operations. Strandberg Guitars fits this profile, and we at Systemstöd thank it for its trust and look forward to a productive partnership.
“We feel the sound,” says Fredrik Jansson, CEO of Aktiebolaget Systemstöd.
