Active decision support

Decision-making information for employees and decision-makers has evolved from lists on striped paper to today's report generators and BI tools with graphs, dashboards or large numbers of Excel reports.

Many see the growing amount of information from different IT systems more as a source of stress than as a good tool for effective decisions. More and more people also want to make decisions based on current, real-time status and information, not on what happened days or weeks ago. In response to these signals and needs, we have developed Active decision support together with Devcode, integrated with Jeeves ERP.

What is Active decision support?

With Active decision support, you let a system monitor operations, signal deviations and suggest actions when something differs from the goals and parameters you have set.

One example is if incoming orders for a particular product have fallen by more than 4% for 2 consecutive weeks. Active decision support can then notify the person responsible of the situation or dynamically change the product's price in the ERP system according to predefined parameters. Active decision support makes business management easier and more efficient for managers, management teams and boards.

Active decision support is based on MotionIQ

Active decision support is based on MotionIQ, a cross-boundary B2B platform that integrates with different systems, such as ERP systems including Jeeves ERP or Sage X3.

"What we like is that Active decision support provides information and signals about what is working well in the business, but also error signals about what needs correcting. Decision-makers get concrete action plans based on predefined rules that we set up ourselves."
