Hosting of the ERP systems we supply such as Sage X3, Jeeves ERP, Visma Net, Excellent Books and Excellent Standard ERP mainly uses cloud solutions.
Previously, on-premises hosting was most common, with ERP installed on your own or a hosting partner’s hardware and servers. Administration, upgrades, monitoring and other tasks were handled by your IT team or a partner.
Today ERP systems run in various cloud solutions. The main advantages over on-premises hosting are:

Sage X3
With Sage X3 in the cloud, you do not need to allocate resources and costs to ERP infrastructure, IT security, patches, performance or monitoring. With Sage X3 ERP in the cloud, hosting, infrastructure and monitoring are handled either by Sage through Amazon AWS. Or through Systemstöd, where UpCloud handles ERP hosting and infrastructure.
In both cases, Sage X3, its IT platform and related services are delivered as a subscription.

Visma Net
Visma Net was developed in the cloud, so users need no servers or resources of their own to ensure security. This is included in the service, with data monitored in dedicated centres, to keep all information secure and ensure Visma Net works as it should.
Visma Net meets national and industry-specific standards. Only authorised staff can access customer data, solely for general service and maintenance of the data infrastructure. All development processes are ISO-certified.

Jeeves ERP
Jeeves ERP Cloud provides scalable, secure infrastructure optimised from the start for all the functions in Jeeves ERP. A cloud solution that lets you customise the system while still upgrading Jeeves ERP easily.
Jeeves ERP Cloud provides broad, deep functionality at a fixed monthly price. Jeeves handles maintenance, and Amazon Web Services hosts the system.
Excellent Standard ERP / Excellent Books
Excellent Standard ERP and Standard Books can run as a cloud solution, with ERP and the company database on servers managed by Excellent, removing the need to manage your own servers and ongoing hardware maintenance.
Client-server communication is encrypted. Data is backed up automatically every night, with encrypted copies stored in different geographic locations. This adds protection for business-critical information and reduces the risk of data loss.
Excellent also manages the technical server environment and ongoing version updates. Users work from their computers while data and the ERP server environment reside centrally in the cloud.
For businesses wanting less internal IT hosting, this provides a scalable, secure solution with hosting, backups and technical maintenance included in the cloud service.
