Company visit to the Swedol Logistics Center
On March 20, we visited our customer Swedol at its 29,000 m² logistics center in Örebro. The center holds 40,000 items and carries out 22,000 handling operations daily, with the help of 94 robots among other resources.
After everyone had gathered, Ulf Eriksson from Swedol welcomed all participants to the company visit. Pontus Riddselius from Systemstöd then provided an overview of the logistics flows and activities at the Swedol Logistics Center. After this introduction, a tour showcased and explained the center's different areas to the visitors.
During the tour, visitors gained a unique insight into how the Swedol Logistics Center works in practice.
From advanced robots that efficiently handle thousands of items every day to logistics flows that ensure all deliveries reach their destinations on time and cost-effectively.
It was truly impressive to get a closer look at the efficient operations that characterize the business.
After the rewarding tour, everyone gathered for a much-needed, delicious lunch, where experiences and insights could be discussed in a relaxed atmosphere.
Jari Koskela from Systemstöd then presented some of Systemstöd's innovative applications and add-ons that Swedol uses with its ERP system, Jeeves ERP.
It was clear that Swedol is at the forefront not only of logistics but also of using modern technology to streamline its business processes. An inspiring visit that truly made the day special.
