For nearly 70 years, HÄLLDE has produced food preparation machines for commercial kitchens and exported worldwide. Seeking to improve margins, HÄLLDE has successfully implemented a series of efficiency improvements using Jeeves ERP.
“When I arrived, we had a mixture of systems. Our priority was to find an integrated system that every department could benefit from and that would be ready for changing future needs. AUTOMATED WORKFLOWS ENSURE HIGH QUALITY
A few years ago, much of the handling of dispatches and transport was manual. Communication between the order and packing departments was also inefficient. HÄLLDE has developed a streamlined, automated workflow in Jeeves ERP. When the order department creates an order, Jeeves automatically checks whether all ordered products are available and when they should be delivered. The picking list prints automatically in the right department. A few clicks produce all necessary transport documents, and goods-labeling tags are automatically customized for the customer.
“Communication is now efficient all the way from order to delivery, and we also have control of inventory levels. Delivery reliability has improved, lead times have shortened and tied-up capital has decreased. In today’s competitive environment, Jeeves ERP has been highly beneficial. We stand for quality in our own products, and with Jeeves, our quality-focused mindset now permeates every company process,” explains Håkan Johansson.
HIGH FLEXIBILITY DELIVERS COST EFFICIENCY
Today, HÄLLDE uses much of Jeeves’ core functionality alongside its own customizations, developed internally or with consultant support.
“Because Jeeves is so flexible, I find the system very cost-effective in the long term,” Håkan Johansson continues.
To further strengthen its quality focus, the next step is to introduce Jeeves CRM, Jeeves BI and more of Jeeves ERP’s transport management functionality.
