ISE Lager includes many functions such as batch management, serial number handling at goods receipt and dispatch, priority picking, checks that the right items and quantities are taken from the right shelves, and routing to optimise picking. Everything is, of course, fully integrated with Jeeves ERP.
ISE Lager news
In spring 2016, we release the next version of ISE Lager (v7.0). Besides the usual improvements, it has a more modern appearance and a responsive web interface with personal colour schemes. The biggest news is that customers can choose more hardware platforms, such as Android. Modern hardware running Android makes the portable devices much faster than older Windows Mobile devices.

Goods receipt in ISE Lager
ISE Lager lets you handle the following goods receipt functions with the handheld terminal.
– Goods receipt can take place in 1, 2 or 3 steps through
- Goods on the dock (on site, not saleable)
- Arrival registration
- Goods receipt
– Purchase requisition
- Scanning items for replenishment on shop shelves
– Orders are identified using the barcode on goods through:
- Our or the supplier's item number, or EAN
- Packaging, different codes per pack size
- Purchase order number
– The system suggests a shelf/storage location based on your business rules
- Requirement for an empty shelf (for example, batch or pallet)
- Size and shape of goods or packaging
- Volumes in quantity or capacity
– Goods receipt can account for pending deliveries, urgent needs or cross-docking
– The barcode register can be updated at goods receipt
– Received materials can be labelled at goods receipt
Outbound delivery in ISE Lager
ISE Lager lets you handle the following outbound delivery functions with the handheld terminal.
– Outbound delivery with a prioritised picking list and optimised route. Alerts for heavy, dangerous and bulky goods. Barcode checks for, for example, items, quantities or shelves, and label printing when picking loose goods. Other outbound delivery functions in ISE Lager include:

– Companies have always been interested in handheld terminals for warehouse management, but I believe too few have taken the step. Interest often stops because the investment is considered too large.
